TwitchCon Rotterdam 2024 kicked off this year’s calendar of conventions on June 29. The event has held many special tournaments for streamers to participate in, as well as seeing many of the globe’s most popular creators host IRL streams. Recapping some of the most popular moments of the weekend, Streams Charts has collated the viewership statistics for the official Twitch events, as well as the most popular streamers to cover the weekend of gaming and livestreaming culture.
At the top, the Twitch Rivals Ultimate Challenge was the most popular event, having recorded61.8K Peak Viewers. This viewership came from a mixture of streamers involved with the challenge, as well as the official Twitch broadcasts covering the games. The Twitch Rivals event had a prize pool of $75K USD, and featured many of the platform’s top creators.
The most popular creators involved with this event wereCDawgVAandLetsHugoTV. The former of these two reached 8.9K Peak Viewers during the challenge, making him the most popular broadcaster of the event. The MC Championship LIVE event was also very highly watched, having received over 59.5K Peak Viewers. The Minecraft event featured many of the game’s most popular creators, and featured a $50K prize pool. Although many of the popular creators involved with the tournament also broadcasted it, the most popular challenge of this event was the official TwitchRivals Twitch channel, which received 15.1K PV.
On the first day of the event, theParty Animals Invitational on Twitch Rivalsreceived53.8K Peak Viewers, becoming one of the most popular events of the entire weekend. Although this event once again featured some of Europe’s most popular creators, the TwitchRivals channel was by far the most popular option for fans. The official broadcast reached30K Peak Viewers, which was its second-most popular stream of the year.
Finally, the TwitchCon Europe 2024 Escape from Tarkov event also generated quite a bit of buzz. The event was an opportunity for the game’s developers to show off the new factory map rework, and generally communicate the upcoming changes to their audience. The developers had various Twitch streamers play to showcase the map; the LAN Twitch channel, which is one of the official accounts for TwitchCon Europe 2024, reached over 28.2K Peak Viewers during this event. This marks the LAN account’s most popular broadcast ever on Twitch.
These special events were some of the highlights of TwitchCon Rotterdam 2024, but many other individual streamers hosted broadcasts which rivalled these official events in viewership. Below, we present a ranking of the most popular Twitch channels to cover the TwitchCon Rotterdam 2024 weekend.
At the top, the officialTwitchchannel stood at the top of this ranking, having achieved30.4K Peak Viewersduringthe welcome broadcast for the first dayof the convention. The peak viewership was received towards the tail-end of the broadcast, which was the first of two hosted on this official channel for June 29. Viewership rose as the Twitch account wrapped up its Weekend Millionaire game, and viewership reached its peak just as the broadcast shut off, leading into the next slot for the channel: the drag show.
The official TwitchRivals and LAN accounts reached their respective peaks of30.1K PV and 28.3K PVthanks to coverage of events we have previously mentioned: Party Animals Invitational and the Escape from Tarkov event.
Nmplol reached over21K Peak Viewersduring his stream on the first day of TwitchCon. The American broadcaster was also live on June 28, the eve of TwitchCon. He hosted a special IRL stream collaborating with other streamers and building hype for the TwitchCon weekend, thanks to which he created some of the most popular Twitch Clips of the weekend. For this stream prior to TwitchCon’s official opening, he reached 26.8K PV.

Another official Twitch account,NomNomreceived 19.7K Peak Viewers for its coverage of TwitchCon’s opening day. The account was host to various panels covering various areas of Twitch’s ecosystem, and featuring some of the platform’s top creators.
American streamer EsfandTV was enjoying himself in the Netherlands. He reached 18K Peak Viewersduring the party at the end of TwitchCon’s opening day. His broadcast on June 29 reached its peak viewership thanks to a Raid from zackrawrr (Asmongold), although Esfand’s content throughout the party was entertaining enough that he would have reached a sizable peak without this Twitch Raid.
Danish streamerNoraExplorerwas one of TwitchCon’s most popular creators thanks to her collaborative streams with Nmplol. She reached15.6K Peak Viewersthanks to an immediate Raid from Nmplol when she went live; the two were on stream exploring the Netherlands together, and farming Clips.Her broadcast the day before TwitchConwas so highly-watched, it became her third-most popular broadcast ever.
LetsHugoTV and his team celebrate their performance at the MC Championship LIVE
LetsHugoTVwas one of the content creator’s involved with various special events hosted by Twitch throughout the weekend. The Luxembourgish creator reached12.3K Peak Viewerswhile streaminghis perspective of the MC Championship LIVE event. His competitive success throughout the event was key in generating this peak viewership, and as he and his team advanced further into the tournament his viewership only continued to grow.
Fanfinity, one of the official broadcasts for events at TwitchCon Europe 2024, reached 9.4K Peak Viewersfor its coverage of theTwitchCon Tabletop on the opening dayof the event. Many of the events at TwitchCon Rotterdam 2024 achieved significant viewership for even smaller-scale events, which were not as publicly advertised as the large-scale Twitch Rivals tournaments.
