There really isn’t a more suitable combination when it comes to flavors. The strawberry and lemonade go perfectly together and with just a little lemonade flavored vodka (or you can use regular vodka), they aren’t overwhelmingly boozy!

I love making these for girls night, but they’re also pretty delicious to whip up as an evening treat in front of the TV!

What kind of popsicle molds can you use with alcoholic popsicles?

I love these zip-a-pop disposable molds when I have some time, but I also like the ease of using traditional popsicle molds. There are pros and cons for each.

Pros for using disposable ice pop molds:

  • Easy to make a large batch
  • No removing them from the mold

Pros for using traditional ice pop molds:

  • Easier to fill
  • Reusuable
  • Easier to freeze

Do these popsicles freeze with the alcohol in them?

While these popsicles don’t freeze hard like regular popsicles, they certainly do freeze! There isn’t a ton of alcohol in them, so what vodka is in there causes them to be a little softer than others. If you have any hesitation about the freezing, I recommend using disposable popsicle bags to freeze them!

How to make Strawberry Lemonade Vodka Popsicles:

  1. Pour lemonade into a pitcher. Add the vodka and stir well to mix.
  2. Place 3-4 slices of strawberries into each mold OR blend the ingredients all together in a blender.
  3. Pour the lemonade vodka mixture into each mold.
  4. Freeze for at least 10 hours.
  5. ENJOY!!

How else can I make this recipe?

I love that this recipe is so versatile! Here are a few different ways that I’ve made them:

  • Add strawberries and lemons to the popsicle molds
  • Make homemade lemonade with simple syrup
  • Use flavored lemonade (or flavored vodka!)
  • Blend a little lemon with the lemonade mixture before pouring it into the popsicle molds
  • Make a strawberry puree and add a little lemonade to it–your popsicles will be darker in color
  • Add lemon juice to the bottom of the molds first, then freeze before filling with the vodka mixture for a pretty popsicle
  • Add a lemon slice to the popsicle molds before filling
