Attending Baldwin Wallace University was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I was supported by amazing professors, made lifelong friends, and even met the love of my life. I was involved in the Marching Band, volunteer organizations, and FSL, and I had valuable experiences with the Political Science department and Community Research Institute. Berea's proximity to Cleveland was a huge plus - I loved exploring the city, especially the vibrant Playhouse Square district. The campus had a great feel, with a perfect balance of size and accessibility. BW greatly prepared me for graduate school and the class sizes allowed me to become close with my professors. Additionally, BW allows you to truly do it all. While I was very involved, I was able to have a work-study job in the ceramics studio and work with the art gallery. This was a pivotal experience that I would not have anywhere else. I'm grateful to have called BW home for four years.

From the moment I toured Baldwin Wallace, I loved it from the beginning. There’s nothing like being at BW. So many people I have come to connect with have been students and are alum of BW. BW makes a great effort in supporting, self-care, and making sure you are on top of your work and working closely with professors and faculty. As a current Yellow Jacket, I am proud to be one. BW makes me happy and I feel a sense of belonging. I love BW!

My one gripe was that the music performance curriculum was not career oriented enough. Besides one obligatory meeting with the department faculty as an underclassman, I was never told “you will need these skills in the work force — let’s check your progress.”
But I really loved all the professors I had and I felt that they were each passionate about the subject matter they were teaching as well as teaching itself.
