An artist is on a quest to find the enigmatic man who became the muse for her latest masterpiece near the Humber Bridge. The artist, Emma Prempeh, encountered the man while strolling along the Hessle foreshore in May. She was captivated by his serene demeanor and the way he used a zimmer frame, which she described as 'the perfect image'. Despite asking for his permission to take a photograph, she didn't manage to get his details. Now, she's determined to locate him, expressing her desire to meet him and express her gratitude. The artwork, titled 'The Nearness of Elsewhere', is a reflection of her African-Caribbean heritage and her time spent in Hull. It's currently on display at the 87 Gallery in Princes Avenue until December 19th.
